The Boy at Fort Agauda, Goa

On the flight to Delhi for Auto Expo 4th-11th Jan ... wrote this blog.Had been not getting time or it was not the right time. This is a story about a Boy at Fort Agauda, Goa.Had been to Goa week back with friends. On the 2nd day of the trip we visited Fort Agauda. A marvellous place with breathtaking view of infinite sea.
We took a small tour of the fort took some pictures in different poses and then came to the exit. The sun was right above our head and it was hot and humid. Was already feeling thirsty and saw a kiosk selling lemon soda. We requested the vendor for 4 glasses.Had couple of sips and felt heaven instantly. Out of a sudden heard a voice... very feeble and sweet.
There was a boy who was a helper to the cold drink vendor. The sight of him made me go into some deep thoughts about childhood, school and friends.Summer vacations and books.
And again heard the same voice... The Boy at Fort Agauda. He must be 12-13 year old, very sweet, nicely dressed, boyish, with a cap ...
One glance at him and i realised I am soo lucky to have a nice childhood with best of parents, best of education, best school, College, best of friends, best home to live in.
I am sooo much thankfull to my karma that i was here and i came to Goa just to realise this !!! Superb feeling :)
Another thought passed by me again and i thought in India there is soo much of illiteracy and poverty at the healm.Child labour is a serious issue. I would not want any children to work and earn. There has to be rights of the children. Our country should do something about it. the inner self started emerging and it was all over the place.
I felt sorry for the boy and could just with my weak brain think only about a bleak future for him.Maybe i am wrong only time will speak.
Something needs to be done to bring about a change in the education. Can i do it alone ?Yes why not ? Otherwise the boy will be selling soda and cold drinks all through out his childhood.what can be done .. No one has a perfect answer. However atleast i had a realisation and tht was the best thing. It all starts by an idea and realisation,a life changing experience and this is how humans change. The whole outlook towards life changes.A whole new world emerges and u start seeing the same half empty glass as half full glass... I hope u get it.
I had my day of realisation and I am sure u will also have One Fine Day...

Take care.

Cheers and Cheese !!!
With lots of love:)
